One great way to promote your real estate business is through a practice that is coming to be called hyperlocal blogging. Hyperlocal blogging is just a fancy term for community blogging. There are several ways to go about hyperlocal blogging, but what many real estate agents are doing is using their blog as a way to create a community online within their geographic communities. The
Park City Journal is one good example of this type of blog.
If you are a real estate professional then you might be interested in your own community, or hyperlocal blog, one that doesn’t focus entirely on yourself but which could be used to draw business to your real estate practice. I can see this trend getting to be more and more popular as more real estate agents take to blogging and I can see competing real estate brokers establishing competing hyperlocal blogs. To survive as a real estate agent in the 21st century, it will be increasingly more important to have a local blog to market your practice.
